This course is intended to provide the electrical and computer engineering student with a familiarity and an understanding of the analytical and computer skills required for the analysis, computer simulation, design, and computer-aided physical layout of digital integrated circuits. This course is preparatory for study in the fields of Very Large Scale Integrated (VLSI) circuits and Computer-Aided Design techniques. The lab focuses on the systematic analysis and design of digital integrated circuits in CMOS technology using CADENCE Design Systems software tools.
